Türkiye and China Come Together for Joint Projects in Health Sector

 

USHAŞ participated in the meeting held on 13 March 2025 under the chairmanship of Mr. Jiang XUEBIN, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, Mr. Zhou MEIFEN, Undersecretary of Culture, and Dr. Aziz Alper BİTEN, Director General for European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting, it was stated that USHAŞ is planning a site visit in line with the goal of strengthening cooperation with China in the field of health, after which a health business forum can be organized, hospital projects can be developed and training programs for health professionals can be designed. The importance of increasing cooperation especially in the field of traditional and complementary medicine (GETAT) was emphasized.

Mr. Behlül ÜNVER, General Manager of USHAŞ, stated that Türkiye is ready to share its international experience in the field of health with China. He also emphasized that the participation of Chinese officials and the Ambassador to the GETAT Congress to be held on 3-5 October 2025 would be an important step.
